L'Opificio del Mare stems from the vision of a young woman, Alice, who over time recognized the uniqueness of the extraordinary scents tied to the places of her childhood, transforming them into a reality that produces and tells stories of exceptional fragrances, walks along the Amalfi Coast and sailing days with friends.
The story begins at the family estate, located between the Amalfi Coast and Cilento, in a strategic position between the sea and the bustling city life
Here, her grandmother Luisa, a modern and cosmopolitan woman, decided to create a garden with over 200 botanical species, inspired by the Mediterranean scrubland she discovered during a visit to Velia, a place tied to the Salerno Medical School.

INDISSOLUBLE BONDS
Luisa handed down to Alice the respect and care for working with raw ingredients. Over the years, they experimented with unusual combinations of fruits from their orchards and the carefully selected aromas from their garden, many of which were discovered during their visits to the Giardino della Minerva.
In time, countless recipes were created, from preserves to special dishes, and the best were perfected to be shared with friends and family. There was no greater joy than creating something that had the power to bring people together
